It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen M. Kurilla (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Colleen has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her parents, Lawrence S. Kurilla and Arlene G. Neff Kurilla of McDonald; her daughter Hanna McGee (Niall) of Howland; her granddaughter Mia McGee; her brother Thomas L. Kurilla of East Palestine; her nephew Stephen Kurilla; and her niece Katelyn Kurilla. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (477 N Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44509). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (618 Ohio Ave, McDonald, OH 44437).
