She was predeceased by : her parents, John Paul and Marie Chamar Carlson; her brother John Paul "Jay" Carlson; her former life partner Ron Whalen; and her son-in-law Chris Kartley.

She is survived by : her children, Sean Kilbane of Fort Worth Texas and Dr. Meghan Kartley (Greg West) of Jamestown Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Elaine Kartley and Chester Joseph "C. J." Kartley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Good Hope Lutheran Church (98 Homestead Dr, Youngstown, OH 44512). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
