She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Donald Bernat and Millicent Bernat (Pugh); her son Justin Durkin; and her brother Donald Bernat Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lesley Durkin of Youngstown, Dawn Durkin Schneider of Canfield and Phillip Durkin of Youngstown; her siblings, Susan Mickler (Jamie), Christine O'Hara, David Bernat (Kathleen), Robert Bernat (Mary Kay) and Peter Bernat; her grandchildren, Kane, Justin Jr., Leah, Derrek, Jordan Durkin, Halle, Jake Schneider and Kayley Scurti; and her extended family, Tarick, Charles Bernat, Mary Ann Durkin and Michele Dubas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
