She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Celeste Bryant (James) of Youngstown, Craig Forest Sr. (Denise) of Youngstown and Curt Forest (Iesha) of New Jersey; her parents, Charles Brown and Della Brown; her husband Ernest Plater; her siblings, John Young, Perlie Young, Carrie Colvin, Doris Sewell and Juanita Shaw; and her granddaughter Carmen Forest. She was also cherished by children, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
