He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoover L. Wagner and Alice Gibson Wagner; his son Bruce Edward Wagner; his wife Lily Wagner; his grandson Brinson Wagner; his siblings, Thelma Carpenter, Geraldine Young, Leonard Wagner and William Wagner; and his stepsiblings, John Hairston, Richard Hairston and Mary Richburg.
He is survived by: his daughter Charlene Celestine Williams (Julius); his grandchildren, Zahne Williams (Rhae), Patrice Nicole Cuff (Stephen), Lauren Williams and Rose Mae Lopez (Keith); his great grandchildren, Olivia Renee, Nathan Anthony, Isaac Aaron (Lauren), Kayla Jade, Caleb James and Joshua Charles (Rose); and his stepsisters, Carolyn Cooper, Deborah Beasley, Julia Rose Johnson and Linda Turnage. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church (1812 Oak Hill Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
