It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Sopkovich of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Sopkovich to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bernat and Mary Nacin Bernat; her husband Stephen; her daughter Kathleen A. Allen; and her siblings, John, Andrew, Anthony, Joseph, Paul Bernat, Helen Lucas, Anna F. Bocan, Mary and Martha Bernat.

She is survived by: her grandson Steve Pihonsky (Deidre) of Ramsey; and her great grandchildren, Connor and Noah Pihonsky. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Catherine can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
