She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Butler and Mary Pollard; her grandmother Ida Smith-Butler; her grandson Lewis Butler; and her sister Loretta Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Doyle Butler and Denise Thomas; her sister Louise Sullivan; her grandchildren, Shaheta Thomas, Ebony Fisher and Candice Billings; and her cousins, Beverly Boyd and Latoya Walker.
