He is survived by: his parents, William Smith and Grace Eyster Smith; his spouses, Marilynn Moran and May; his children, Christine DiGaetano (Raymond) of Clearwater, Gary Smith (Kathy) of Pittsburgh, Scott Smith (Lori Tylinski) of Pittsburgh, Marnie Luongo (Joseph) of Charleston, S. C. and Megan Beam (Robert) of Boardman; his siblings, Howard Smith, Donald Smith, John Smith and Barbara Carothers; and his grandchildren, Lauren Wood, Ryan DiGaetano, Kristen Vergallito, Mallory Adams, Carroll Smith, Garrett Smith, Madison Smith, Mara Luongo, Michael Luongo, Frank Loungo and Brendan Beam.
