It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Thomas of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Krempasky and Carolyn Markusic Krempasky; and her son-in-law Alex J. Shaffo. She is survived by: her husband John H. "Jack" Thomas; and her children, Jorgine Shaffo of Youngstown, Jennifer Byers (Ed) of Poland, Shelley Larson (Steve) of Fort Pierce, Kevin (Delores) of Chicago and Bryan (Michelle) of Tampa, Florida.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
