She was predeceased by: her parents, Claire Young (Reilly) and Charles Young; and her siblings, Mary Benish (Bob) of Virginia and Charlie Young (Teddy). She is survived by: her husband Bob Carpenter; her brother John Young (Marguerite) of Youngstown Ohio; her sister-in-law Margaret Young (Charlie) of Naples Florida; her nieces and nephews, Brigette Baurer, Chuck Young (Ramsey Grey), Marcy Adamy (David), Bobby Benish, Kathy Paull (Gary), Mary Beth Benish, Guy Young (Lisa), John Young (Ashleigh), Reid Young, Doreen Holtz (Steve) and Dan Young (Amy); and her close friend Ed Swank of Naples. She is also survived by 19 great nieces and nephews.
