He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vecchione and Celeste Leone Vecchione; his daughter Paula Repko; his former wife Dorothy Purash Vecchione; his siblings, Thomasine Marsco (Frank), Jean Cohen (Jerry), Angeline Palombaro and Henry Vecchione (Frances); and his brothers-in-law, Frank Rondinelli and John Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Young Vecchione; his children, George Vecchione of Boardman, Debbie Nicholas (Mike) of Struthers and Donna Fain (Fango) of North Jackson; his grandchildren, Robyn Waller (Russell), Rachael DeFiore (Jon), Adin, Lorenzo and Lawrence; his great grandchildren, Josephine Rose, Nathanael Carmine and Emil Bruce James; his sisters, Ann Monroe of Poland and Mary Rondinelli of Canfield; and his brother-in-law Guy "Duke" Palombaro of Boardman.
