It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Clyde McGuire of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McGuire and June Thomas McGuire; and his siblings, Joseph McGuire, Jr., Walter Brown, Yvonne "Bonnie" Shivers, Delores McGuire-Allen, Naomi Jones and Joretha Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Frankie Mae McGuire (Threat); his children, Clyde Carl McGuire of Birmingham, Carl Squire McGuire of Tampa and Brenda McGuire of Youngstown; and his siblings, Douglas McGuire (Stella) of Boardman, Charles "Nicky" Brown of Indiana, June Snipes of Youngstown and Valerie McGuire of Boardman. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a. m. Guests are asked to wear masks.
