He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Hays (Abrams); his children, Anne Chapin (Aaron) of Chicago, IL, Kacey Hays (Jack O'Leary) of Los Angeles, CA, Emily Hays of Carlisle, PA and Thomas Hays of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Maxwell and Emilia Chapin; and his siblings, Jim Hays (Sharon) of Columbus, OH, Debbie Piwkowski (Mike) of Cleveland, OH and Mary Jennings (Gordon) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
