It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Hawk (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Liberty Township, Ohio, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gifford and Edna Irene Schuyler Gifford; her daughter Angela Chaney; and her siblings, Walter Gifford, Donald Gifford, Marianne Gifford and Nellie Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne C. Meyer (Robert) of Austintown, Louis Less (Theresa) of Berlin Center, Tricia A. Carrabine (Joseph) of Parma and Stacie Less (Anthony Garono) of Canfield; her stepson Timothy Hawk (Eve) of Springfield; and her siblings, Ken Gifford, John Gifford, Herbert Gifford, Nancy Godspeed, Irene Clark and Karen Bycroft. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
