She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fortune and Elizabeth Fortune (Koncsol); her husband George L. Petrilla; her son Ronald Petrilla; and her brothers, Albert and Terry Fortune.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Dean (Dennis) of McDonald, James Petrilla (Michelle) of Niles, Debbie Holmes (Mark) of Niles and Carolyn Swegan (Ron Bowers) of Youngstown; her siblings, Kathy Sudol (Frank), David Fortune (Deb) and Patrick Fortune (Tammy); and her sister-in-law Judy Fortune of McDonald. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services (614 Warren Ave, Niles, OH 44446). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home (614 Warren Ave, Niles, OH 44446).
