She was predeceased by: her parents, Maximillian Piotrowski and Karolina Piotrowski (Poland); her husband Stanley Rak; her brothers, Franek and Zenon Piotrowski (Poland); and her son Witold Geneja (Poland).
She is survived by: her children, Krystyna "Krysia" and Ryszard Geneja; her stepdaughters, Wanda Sztabowska and Maria Malecka; her grandchildren, Maciek "Mac" Adamczak and Basia Adamczak; her great grandchildren, Ania and Alys Scott; her niece Barbara "Basia" Balicki; her cousin John Kaluza; and also Zenon Adamczak.
