Arthur Lemons Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Lemons Sr. of Youngstown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie L. Lemons and Mary Ann Seay Lemons; his brothers, Oze, Alvin and Charles Jr.; his grandson Maurice L. Buie; and his children-in-law, Anthony F. Wright and Rita McClain.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Buie; his children, Henry L. Jackson (Kathy) of Hermitage, PA., Lois M. of Farrell, PA., John Jackson, Sr. of Farrell, PA., Gloria J. Wright of Frankfort, KY., Joann Woodson of Youngstown, OH., Gregory Lemons of Youngstown, OH. and Arthur Jr. Lemons (Kathy) of Hendersonville, TN.; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Buie of Youngstown, Dorothy Shaw of Milwaukee and Ella Mae Lemons of Pritchard, Alabama. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Triedstone Baptist Church (2045 Jacobs Rd, Youngstown, OH 44505). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
