He was predeceased by: his parent Arthur Zabel. He is survived by: his parent Helen Zabel; his great grandchildren, Nekyla, Mary, Cole, Allison, Chase, Mason, Anna, Luke and Canaan; and also, Barbara (Craig) of Elmore, Janis Meyer (Fred) of Mesa and Kurt Zabel (Carol) of Boardman.
