Anthony Tountas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Tountas of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus A. Tountas and Helen Markis Tountas; and his children, Anthony Tountas, Jr. and Maryann McGinn. He is survived by: his daughter Denise Johnston of Boardman; his grandsons, Anthony Tountas of Youngstown, Todd Johnston of Boardman and Logan Johnston of Boardman; his siblings, John Tountas (Lee) of Streetsboro and Athanasia Haloulos of Avon Lake, OH; his children-in-law, Gwendolyn Tountas of Warren and Pat McGinn (Kelly) of Michigan; his friend Patty Herman of Austintown; and his pet Mister Pickles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
