It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Halaparda (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mulichak and Anastasia Bunganie Mulichak; and her siblings, Marge Kovacs, George, Andrew and John Mulichak.
She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Halaparda; her children, Nancy Lessick (Robert) of Lexington, Cheri Halaparda of Nashville, Tenn. and Richard Halaparda (Jacqueline) of Boardman; her brother Steve Mulichak of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Frank Lessick (Melissa), Julie Halaparda, Jeff Halaparda (Maggie) and Drew Lessick (Courtney); and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Harrison, Griffin Halaparda, Lindsay and Danny Lessick.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Paisley House, 1408 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44509.
