He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Hardret and Betty Richardson; and his brothers, James Earl Carter, James "Jimmy" Hardret, Jr. and Victor Hardret.
He is survived by: his daughter LaQuala Richardson of Akron; and his siblings, Rochelle D. Richardson of Austintown, Tabitha Richardson of Youngstown, Glorise Richardson of Youngstown, Twintella Turner of Akron, Kenneth Hardret of Lithonia, GA and Reginald V. Carter of Jacksonville, FL.
