He was predeceased by: his parents, James Protopapa and Mary Sablyak Protopapa; and his grandson Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. Kosinski Protopapa; his children, Christine McBride (Fred) of Cortland, Julie Forsythe (Keith) of Vienna and Albert Protopapa of Austintown; his grandchildren, Andrea (Sean), Joshua (Bre), Mitchell, Jeremy, Jenna, Keith, Kevin, Anthony, Alaina and Evan; his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Jake, Kaiden and Mia; and his siblings, James Protopapa (Sandra) of Hubbard and Clara Fercana of Vienna.
