We bid farewell to Mary L. Wagner of Yorkville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Payton and Charles Payton; and her siblings, Martha Lyons (Sherman), Helen Bresock (Ed), Dorthy Conrad (Ed), Elizabeth Payton, Harold Payton (Katherine) and Ronald Payton.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Wagner of Yorkville; her children, Pam Kourim (Dan) of Rayland, Mark Cole of Tiltonsville and Eric Wagner (Sarah) of Strongsville, OH.; her grandchildren, Matt Kourim (Kensi) of Carlyle, PA, Jennifer Kleineke (Ethan) of Mt. Pleasant, Amanda Brown (Michael) of Martins Ferry and Lucas Wagner of Strongsville, OH; and her great grandchildren, Harley Kleineke of Mt. Pleasant, Donvan, Davion Riffle of Martins Ferry, Braxton Hall of Martins Ferry, Alice and Samuel Riffle of Martins Ferry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heslop Chapel (415 Walnut St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
