He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Walker and Eva Goodwin Walker; his former wife Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Walker (Mattila); his son John R. Walker; and his wife Joyce E. Walker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Bowser (Gary) of Jeffersonville, IN and Kathy Allen (Jerry) of Xenia, OH; his daughter-in-law Eva Walker of Bradenton, FL; his grandchildren, Amy Yost, D. J. Zickefoose (Lisa), Jake Allen (Darci), Nikki Vawter (Jeff), Stacey Oldert (Derek), Krystle Gossett (Todd), John Walker (Bristy), Amy Thomas (Tim) and David Midgely (Emily); his great grandchildren, Phillip, Collin, Aubrey, Kelsey, Maren, Jack, Cole, Chase, Aleeyah of Tenley, TJ, Mason, Maddox, Brianna, Jaxson, Maverick, Cameron, Ethan and Payton; his stepchildren, Cheryl Glaze (Don), Dale Hohlbaugh (Pam), Darrell Hohlbaugh (Lisa) and Doug Hohlbaugh (Heidi); his grandchildren, Erica Miller (Matt), Jessica Bulgrin, Brooke, Lindsay, Logan and Jackson Hohlbaugh; and also, Liam, Nora, Ward and Ray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Dayton or The Activity Department at Friends Care Center, Yellow Springs, OH in his memory.
