It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jacquelyn Hammond of Yellow Springs, Ohio, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Philip Hammond; her parents, Albert Nickel and Hortense Nickel; and her granddaughter Sarah Hammond (Donald Fulton). She is survived by: her children, Jim Hammond (Libby) and Joan Hammond (Randy Wyatt); her grandchildren, Katie Hammond and Joey Hammond; and her friends, Cecilia Kimball and Erin Eavers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Yellow Springs Senior Center, a local humane society or animal rescue organization.
