It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William B. McCarthy of Xenia, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel McCarthy and Patricia McCarthy (Cogan); and his siblings, Jerome, Robert McCarthy and Carol Wolff.

He is survived by : his wife Marjorie Ann McCarthy (Waugh); his children, William McCarthy Jr., Michelle Richens and Lori McCarthy; his stepchildren, Cindi Stratton and Doug Stratton (Renee); his siblings, Marilyn Sue Guarnieri (David), James and Donald McCarthy; and his great grandchild Michael Little. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Brigid Catholic Church (312 Fairground Rd, Xenia, OH 45385). A Mass was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

If desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Ohio's Hospice in memory of Bill.
