He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McCarthy and Patricia McCarthy (Cogan); and his siblings, Jerome, Robert McCarthy and Carol Wolff.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann McCarthy (Waugh); his children, William McCarthy Jr., Michelle Richens and Lori McCarthy; his stepchildren, Cindi Stratton and Doug Stratton (Renee); his siblings, Marilyn Sue Guarnieri (David), James and Donald McCarthy; and his great grandchild Michael Little. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
