It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Charles Johnson Jr. of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Johnson and Mildred Johnson (McPherson); his son Eric B. Johnson; and his sister Brenda K. Medley. He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Whitmore (Darrin) of Springfield; his brother Thomas E. Johnson of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Stephanie C. Hoylman (Jeremy) of West Virginia and Stephen J. Whitmore (Kelby Kittles) of Enon; his great grandchildren, Owen, Madison and Brooklynn; his former wife Sherry Furber; and his close friend Jo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, & a host of friends.
