She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Ison and Elma Ison (Gibson); her husband John Herald; her son Jeff Herald; and her siblings, Helen Herald, Juanita Johnson, Paul Ison and William Ison.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Payton (Clarence), Connie Payton (Eddie), Bob Herald, Dianne Braden, Bonnie Hoop (Vaughn) and Tim Herald; her grandchildren, Brian Payton (Kasey), Rodney Payton (Joanie), Sara Nared, Johnny Payton (Leslie), Justin Herald (Kelly Jones), Amy Erisman (Jim), Adam Herald (Amanda), Karri Herald, Bobbi Herald, Josh Herald and Michael Braden; her brother Carl Ison; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Herald. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Powers-Kell Funeral Home (12 N Limestone St, Jamestown, OH 45335). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
