He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis V. Davis and Helen H. Davis; and his son Christopher V. Davis. He is survived by: his close friend Molly Bostic; his daughters, Carla Davis (John Hamilton) and Cynthia Gargaro (Mark); his grandson Wesley; his sister Retta Staib; and his former wife Patricia Piatt Davis.
