Veda M. Matthews Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2020, at the age of 86, Veda M. Matthews of Xenia, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Wright and Ruth Sylvester Wright; her husband Gerald W. Matthews; and her siblings, Jean Downey and Edward Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia (Darrell), Linda Edwards (David), Michelle Hackman, Beavercreek, Stanley G. Matthews (Gwen) and David H. Matthews (Patsy); her grandchildren, Gerald Matthews, Natalie Matthews, Heather Yannitti, Ryan Roach, Bryan Edwards, Michael Edwards, Lori Edwards Paulsrud, Rebekah Taylor (Chris), Aaron Matthews (Crystal), Joshua Matthews, Rachel Joseph (Anthony), Sarah Reichart (Johnathan), Jerry Knisley and Vickie Knisley; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Caleb, Landen, Ethan, Autumn, Luke Joseph, Fiona Taylor, Benjamin, Isaac, Rosalee, Daniel, Vivian and Rylan; and her sister Carolyn Clifton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
