He was predeceased by: his parent Samuel Mortimer; his wife Patricia Hawker Mortimer; and his siblings, Wyndham Mortimer, Paul Mortimer, Clarence Mortimer, William Mortimer and Betty Blankenship.
He is survived by: his parent Florence Harris Mortimer; his children, Claudia Mortimer of Xenia, Timothy Mortimer and Rebecca Ruggles (Bill) of Hillsboro; and his sister Phyllis Grisso (Joe). He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
