He is survived by: his children, Scott A. Steinmetz (Natalie) of Wilmington and Kimberly A. Steinmetz-Thompson (Bill) of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Madylin Steinmetz, Garrett Steinmetz, Kennedy Thompson and Ella Thompson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hoening & Son Funeral Home - Fostoria (133 W Tiffin St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
