She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin C. and Lavina Gifford (Edwards); her husband Billy Rives; and her siblings, Benny Gifford, Margaret Gifford, Doris Brown, Donald Gifford, Janice Muterspaw and Thomas Gifford.
She is survived by: her daughter Gretchen Rives; and her brothers, Jerry Gifford (Walfrieda) and Richard Gifford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
