She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis B. Carr and Annie Mae Carr (Mitchell); her siblings, Glinner (Tootsie), Gail Thompson, Arthur Jr and Louis, Jr. (June); her daughter Kathleen Richardson; her granddaughters, Megan McCourt and Shay Richardson (Shannon); and her former husband Gilbert W. Richardson, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Harriet Richardson of Fairfield Twp, Gilbert Richardson Jr. of Xenia and Shirley Richardson-McCourt; her son-in-law Tom McCourt of Beavercreek; her son Charles Richardson; her daughter-in-law Carla Richardson of Liberty Twp; and her grandchildren, Ryan McCourt of Beavercreek, Chad Richardson of Columbus and Sydney Richardson of Liberty Twp. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Artemis Center or Hospice of Dayton.
