Ruth A. Simmons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth A. Simmons of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warde Washburn and Marie Jackson Washburn; her husband Green Simmons, Jr.; her children, Jeannie and Jim; her stepdaughter Ina Belle Thrash; her siblings, Betty Cunningham, Marjorie Jean Washburn and Richard Washburn; and her friends, Kay Boyd, Doris Adkins and Diane Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Tom, Gary, Leenatta, John and Linda; her stepson Ray Simmons; and her brother William Washburn. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews and by many close friends.
