It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russel Leroy Harris of Xenia, Ohio, born in Racine, Ohio, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lee Roy; and his children, Debra Thompson and Donald Harris. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Harris (Merriman) of Xenia; his children, David Harris of Xenia, Dennis Harris of Xenia and DeAnn Richards of Jamestown; his sister Leta Thordsen of Cedarville; and his siblings-in-law, Tom, Jan Merriman of Xenia, Sue, Paul Morris of Xenia and Janet Merriman of Xenia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
