It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Gilley in Xenia, Ohio, born in Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Staton-Gilley (Howard); his parents, Algan Gilley and Mabel Gilley-Lehman (Elkins); his siblings, Marvin Gilley and Elizabeth Sailor; his daughters, Joan Ann Gilley and Jayne Ellen Gilley; and also Dixie Jean Gilley (Barton).
He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Linda) of Tullahoma, Jeff (Dee) of Xenia and Brian Gilley (Karen) of Sugarcreek Township, Ohio; his sisters, Bonnie Cole and Ada Hill; his grandchildren, Eric Gilley (Megan), Danielle Zito (Kevin), Dean Gilley (Megan) and Ross Gilley; and his great grandchildren, Evan Gilley, Nathan Gilley, Giana Zito, Kimber Zito and Aela Gilley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home (6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, OH 45005). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Zion Shoup Cemetery.
