It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lee Schickling of Xenia, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Rice Schickling; and his brother Larry Schickling. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Schickling (Benson); his daughter Laura Miller (Geoffrey) of Xenia; his siblings, Beverly Blanke (Rick) and Jack Schickling of Xenia; his sisters-in-law, Debby Campbell of Xenia and Cindy Beckman (Jim) of Spring Valley; and his close friend Daisy Mae. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by many other family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in Dick's name be made to the American Diabetes Association or your favorite charity in his memory.
