He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Ervin Keaton and Mary Vivian Walters Keaton; and his siblings, Judith Stoner, Phyllis Colwell (Jean), Alice Bass (Sue), Laura Miller (Mae), Stanley and Michael Keaton.

He is survived by : his children, Tonya Ferguson, Tara Garber (Jeremy), Tia Keaton (Neil Brewer) and Richard Keaton Jr. (Christin Oldham). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (281 Dayton Ave, Xenia, OH 45385). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the VFW Post 2402 (850 W 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385).
