He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brest and Elizabeth Brest (Hendricks); his siblings, George, Dick Brest and Judy Brodnick; his nephew Jason Seaman; his great grandchild Sarah Wilder; and his daughter-in-law Theresa Brest.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Brest; his granddaughters, Michele Wilder (Steve) and Aimee Sparks (Clay); and his sister Patty Armentrout (Chris). He is also survived by grand kids; 6 great great grand kids; nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Valley View Memorial Gardens (170 N Valley Rd, Xenia, OH 45385).
