She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna C. Johnson Tapp Walters and Walter Earl "" Tapp of Tennessee; her husband Arthur E. "Sam" Waits; and her sister Donna S. Blevins. She is survived by: her friend Orvie Dixon; her children, Tamra G. Jaynes of Xenia, Tina L. Adkins (David) of Xenia and Michael E. Waits (Christine) of Xenia; her sister Nancy Hedges (Larry) of Xenia; her grandchildren, Brittney Tipton (Shawn) and Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Darcy of Brady, AJ and Emmylou. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
