She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James T. Nooks and Idella Nooks (Wilson); her children, Taia Jabbar (Tawfiq), Luciana Brooks, Monica Cockfield (DeVon) and Damon Nooks; her great grandchild Gabriel McLemore; and her siblings, James A. Nooks (Denise), Jonathan Nooks and Cassandra Story. She was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
