She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merriman and Georgia Merriman (Luttrell); her husband Russel Harris; her children, Dennis Harris, Debra Thompson and Donald Harris; and her brothers, Chuck Merriman and Bill Merriman (Janet).

She is survived by: her children, David Harris of Xenia and DeAnn Richards of Jamestown; her siblings, Tom Merriman (Jan) of Xenia and Sue Morris (Paul) of Xenia; and her sister-in-law Leta Thordsen of Cedarville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
