She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ables and Elizabeth Ables (Lovelady); her grandchildren, Lenzi Carter and Amelia Morris; her husband Decoy Sparks; and her siblings, Jimmy, Roy Ables, Alice Houston, Ana Ruth "Top" Newsome, Emma Brown and Evelyn Venters Norma.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lesa Morris (Gregory) and Yvonne (Kent); her brothers, Jack and Bill Ables; and her great grandchildren, Carter and Hunter.
