With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy L. (Cain) O'Connor of Xenia, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nancy L. left this world on March 3, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Cain and Dorothy Fuller Cain; her husband Lawrence "Larry" T. O'Connor; her son John Maurice O'Connor; and her siblings, Alice Cain, Thomas Cain and Joseph Cain.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew O'Connor, Brigid O'Connor, Mary Alice Akins (Kevin) and Kathleen Stebbins (John); her daughter-in-law Amy Maurer (James); her grandchildren, James, Carlin, McKenzie, Ellie, Matthew, Will, Mia, Molly and Emily; her sisters, Dorothy J. "Dottie" Cain and Carol Melanson; and her sister-in-law Karen Cain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neeld Funeral Home, Inc. (1276 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Brigid Church (312 Fairground Rd, Xenia, OH 45385).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Brigid Memorial Program, 258 Purcell Ave., Xenia, OH, 45385, in her memory.
