With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou McClelland of Xenia, Ohio, born in Ilion, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Haag and Ruth Marlay Haag; her husband Dr. Robert L. McClelland; her son-in-law Dennis Cox; and her brother Robert Haag.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Andrew McClelland (Charlotte) of Maryville, TN, Michael W. McClelland (Jane), Xenia, Marianne Cox, Sara McClelland and Barbara "Bambi" Middlebrooks (Brad); her grandchildren, Jessica Freeman (James), Emily Anders (Josh), Tyler Cox (Erin), Rachel Lowe (Walt), Bryan Middlebrooks and Sarah Reed (Brandon); her stepgrandchildren, Candy Navarre, Kendall Ford and Jenabe Ford; her great grandchildren, Wheeler, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Ryker, Lucy, Liam, Nora and Weston; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cherelle Navarre and C. J. Navarre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia, In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH, 45420, or to Shriners Children's Hospital, One Children's Plaza, 2 West, Dayton, OH, 45404, in her memory.
