It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Clay of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo White and Elizabeth White (Harding); her husband Virgil D. Clay; her siblings, Oather White of Xenia, Marlin White (Carolyn) of Memphis, TN and Geraldine Jones (Nooks) of Xenia; and her daughters, Carmen Marie Smith of Xenia and Paula Clay of Springfield.
She is survived by: her aunt Ruth Anderson (Raymond) of Xenia; her uncle Luther Harding of Cedarville; her siblings, Reva Smith (James) of Xenia, Frances (Melvin) of Springfield and Robert White (Patricia) of Dayton; and her children, Kim T. White, Ida M. Hawkins (Dwain), Carl R. Smith Jr., Andrea L., Vincent E. Smith Sr., Angela Owens (Douglas), Theresa Clay, Virgil Clay Jr., Jana Grubb (Thurman), Natalie Clay and Jennifer Clay. She is also survived by Forty (40) Grandchildren, One hundred three (103) Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
