She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughes and Marian Hughes (Shaffer); her husband Samuel Conrad; and her sister Elaine Clinton. She is survived by: her brother John "Jack" Hughes (Phyllis); her children, Deborah Cody (John) of Cedarville, David Conrad (Diana) of Xenia and Rebecca Shrum (James) of Bloomington; and her grandchildren, Sarah Powell (Will), Joseph Conrad (Samantha), John Cody, Jr., Andrew Cody (Esther), Paul Conrad (Mel), Samuel Shrum (Aly), Kelsey Shrum and Jacob Schrum. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made in her memory to Calvary Baptist Church (1601 W. Second St., Xenia, Ohio 45385).
