It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda D. Carter of Xenia, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Mautz and Arlene Mautz (Hanks); and her stepbrother Richard Swinehart. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Carter; her children, Bruce Carter and Teri Dunlap (Carter); her siblings, Tom Mautz of White Cottage, OH and Pam Dooley (Mautz) of Lockesburg, AR; her stepsiblings, Darrell Swinehart of Galion, OH and Lynn Mautz (Swinehart) of White Cottage, OH; and her grandchildren, Sean Dunlap, Collin, Brody Carter and Kayley Dunlap. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and step nephews and step nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Water's Edge Christian Church or to your favorite charity.
