She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Newell and Dolla Bennington Newell; her husband John Paul Adkins; and her siblings, John Newell, Jim Jenkins, Ruth Butcher and Mildred Craven.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Motter and Duane Adkins; her grandchildren, Justin Motter and Ashley Adkins; her stepdaughter Jackie Hewett; her granddaughters, Rachel and Tina; her siblings, Jerry Newell (Vickie) of Springfield, Robert Jenkins (Eve) of Havelock, Mary Kern of Huron, Harriet Boone of Xenia and Marie Michaels of Xenia; and her close friend Kathy Moore.
Due to Covid 19, a private family service will be held.
